1. Payment is expected when services are rendered. In order to focus on our patients' needs, customer service and minimizing costs, we do not bill.

2. We accept debit cards, credit cards (Visa, Mastercard, Discover, American Express) checks and cash. All cards must be signed by the owner of the card.

3. When unexpected illness strikes a pet, unexpected expense strikes as well.  Village Park Animal Hospital understands this and is able to make some special arrangements through the CareCredit program. It takes just 5 minutes to complete an application and will allow you to break down your payment into 6 monthly installments.  You can either apply at our hospital, where we'll call in your application over the phone for immediate approval, or apply yourself online at:  www.CareCredit.com.

Insurance For Your Pets

We highly recommend Pet Health Insurance to most all of clients. Pet insurance can make vet bills more affordable. It is a great way to ensure that your pet receives the best care possible not only for preventative treatment, but also in case of unexpected accidents or illnesses. There are many policies to choose from with premiums to fit your budget. For your convenience, our onsite Insurance Coordinator is available to process and submit claims to your preferred Pet Health Insurance company. Let us do the work for you.

Our animal hospital has an insurance specialist on-site to take care of all the claim forms to keep things simple and efficient for our patients as well as their pets.

Our insurance specialist will:

  • Obtain a blank signed claim form to keep in your pet's chart for any future visits. We only ask that you request to have your claim processed after any visit with one of our receptionist. They will enter a code which goes directly to our insurance specialist work list. This will help prevent any delays with your claim submission process.     
  • Ensure that your pet’s chart has updated insurance information and claim forms.
  • Works with doctor to ensure accurate diagnosis and doctors notes are made before any claim submission.
  • Fax claim form(s) with required paid invoices as well as any medical records and labs your insurance company may also request.
  • Insurance Specialist is also available to answer any question you may have regarding insurance claims, or contact insurance companies if necessary.
